EZ BEEF SELF FEED PROGRAM
Profile
EZ Beef is a feedlot supplement designed for producers who want a convenient way to feed cattle and use self feeders. EZ Beef Feedlot Program is a single supplement that can be mixed with corn and fed to cattle through a self feeder.
About the Product
Ease of Use There are several benefits of using self feeders to feed cattle: - Convenient for producer
- Feed is available 24 hours a day to the animal
- Low labor cost
With proper management and nutrition self fed cattle can perform as well as cattle on more intensive feeding programs. To use the EZ Beef Feedlot Supplements you simply need to mix it with whole, dry shelled corn. Minimal roughage can be used in well managed situations. Cattle Intakes When self feeding a common concern is that animals will not consume appropriate amounts of feed day to day. This can lead to digestive upsets and decreased performance. The EZ Beef Feedlot Supplements are a unique blend of ingredients designed to help cattle maintain adequate day to day intakes which can reduce problems for the producer. Nutrition Protein sources and levels in EZ Beef Feedlot Supplements are designed to promote efficient muscle growth in cattle. The high energy diets of EZ Beef Feedlot Supplements are ideal for growing and finishing large frame breeds of cattle. The vitamins and mineral levels in EZ Beef Feedlot Supplements have been formulated to support immune function and optimize animal productivity. Research completed at South Dakota State University showed EZ Beef performed as well as conventional fed cattle and as well as a self fed program using fish oil as the intake limiter. Choice of Additives Proper use of additives can improve animal performance; refer to the product tag for a specific claim.
