STOCKMASTER® N-Take Minerals

STOCKMASTER®

STOCKMASTER® N-Take Minerals are cattle minerals especially formulated to stimulate mineral intake in feeding situations where low mineral intake has been a problem. This includes situations involving low mineral intake resulting from poor water quality. STOCKMASTER N-Take Breeder Mineral is formulated for brood cows and heifers during the critical period from 60 days before calving until the animals are again pregnant.

About the Product

Palatability

Feeding Directions

STOCKMASTER N-Take Minerals are formulated for range or pasture cattle in situations where mineral intake has been low or where animals refuse free choice mineral. STOCKMASTER N-Take Minerals should be offered at approximately 2 to 4 ounces per head per day. If STOCKMASTER N-Take Minerals are offered free choice they should be introduced gradually over a 14 day period. Offer 2 to 4 ounces per head per day during this period to avoid over consumption.

STOCKMASTER N-Take Mineral intakes will vary. Mineral consumption rates should be estimated on a monthly basis. If intakes are greater than 4 ounces per head per day more salt should be offered either free choice or mixed with the mineral. If intakes are less than 2 ounces per head per day the amount of salt offered should be decreased. If intakes are consistently above 5 ounces per head per day the animals should be switched over to a standard mineral product that is not formulated for low intake situations.

Early lactation beef cows and high growth performance animals may need more salt than what is provided in STOCKMASTER N-Take Mineral. Please offer free choice salt along with mineral to these animals.

Supplemental mineral requirements of cattle vary by region, forage quality and season. Individual animal requirements may vary due to age, size, stage of growth or milk production. Please consult your Hubbard Feeds Inc. representative if you have questions about mineral supplementation.

Provide fresh clean water at all times.

Caution

These products, which contain added copper, should not be fed to sheep or related species that have a low tolerance level to copper.
