StressGuard Starter System

StressGuard

Weaning, transportation and transfer to feedlots are major sources of stress for young cattle. The StressGuard Starter System is designed to ease the transition by maximizing dry matter intake and providing critical nutrients so cattle reach full feed quickly, safely and profitably.

About the Product

Electrolyte Balance:  Incoming feedlot cattle typically have lost body fluids. StressGuard Starters contain high levels of electrolytes, especially potassium, to aid in rehydration.

Organic Trace Mineral Fortification:  StressGuard Starters are highly fortified with trace minerals, including organic zinc, copper, manganese and cobalt to support disease resistance.

Chromium:  In a Texas Tech Univ. study, chromium propionate increased ADG and improved feed efficiency when fed during the receiving period.

Yeast Culture:  Yeast culture is added to enhance rumen microbial growth and stabilize the rumen environment.

Choice of Additives:  Proper use of additives can improve animal performance; refer to the product tag for a specific claim. StressGuard Starters are available with approved feed additives.
