Cattle should be started on STOCKMASTER Hi Mag 14 Breed Back Mineral approximately 30 days before the grass becomes lush and should continue consuming STOCKMASTER Hi Mag 14 Breed Back Mineral until the grass growth slows and the pasture dries out. STOCKMASTER Hi Mag 14 Breed Back Mineral is specifically designed for brood cows grazing lush pasture during the critical period from 60 days prior to calving until the cows are again pregnant.

STOCKMASTER Hi Mag 14 Breed Back Mineral is designed to provide supplemental magnesium to animals on lush pasture when Grass Tetany is a concern.
Trace Mineral Supplementation
The trace mineral supplementation of STOCKMASTER Hi Mag 14 Breed Back Mineral is designed for brood cows grazing lush pasture during the critical period from 60 days before calving until the cows are again pregnant. Organic forms of cobalt, copper, manganese and zinc are included to increase the bioavailability of these important trace elements.

MIXING MINERAL:
It is recommended that Stockmaster Hi Mag 14 Breed Back Mineral is mixed with grain and force fed to ensure adequate intake. Stockmaster Hi Mag 14 Breed Back Mineral is formulated to be fed at 4 ounces per head per day. It is important that animals consume adequate amounts of Hi Mag 14 Breed Back Mineral. Provide fresh clean water at all times.
FREE-CHOICE MINERAL:
If force feeding is not possible Stockmaster Hi Mag 14 Breed Back Mineral may be offered on a free choice basis. Start feeding Stockmaster Hi Mag 14 Breed Back Mineral thirty days prior to the cattle being grazed on lush grass. Do not feed additional salt or other mineral sources. Stockmaster Hi Mag 14 Breed Back Mineral intakes will vary. Intakes of Stockmaster Hi Mag 14 Breed Back Mineral should be estimated biweekly. If free choice intakes are less than 4 ounces per head per day Stockmaster Hi Mag 14 Breed Back Mineral should be force fed. Provide fresh clean water at all times.
