JUMPSTART® complete feed is a specialized product precisely balanced for young pigs that need additional nutritional support because of starve out or reduced performance.


About the Product

JUMPSTART® can be mixed with water and fed in the farrowing barn to supplement young pigs or can be fed to pigs in the nursery that are experiencing starve out or falling behind. JUMPSTART® contains a wide variety of ingredients designed to promote good gut health.

High Quality Milk Products
OptiLac® milk replacer and spray dried whey are key ingredients in JUMPSTART® that provide high quality lactose sources, improve palatability, increase consumption and reduce digestive upsets

Balance of Select Ingredients
Key ingredients such as spray dried animal plasma, soy protein concentrate and cheese meal are uniquely combined in JUMPSTART® to achieve a superior balance of essential amino acids. These high quality protein sources were selected for optimum digestibility and palatability which resulted in increased feed consumption. These ingredients also promote lean muscle growth in the young pig.

Steam rolled oats and other high quality carbohydrate ingredients provide easily digested energy sources needed by immature and stressed pigs.

Feeding Directions

  • Mix one part JUMPSTART® to one part water to make a liquid gruel. The amount of JUMPSTART® can be varied to reach desired consistency.
  • JUMPSTART® can be fed to pigs in the farrowing barn and nursery that need supplemental nutrition due to starve out or reduced weight gains.
  • Feed daily for 5-7 days. During this time offer a dry starter feed to help pigs transition to dry feed.
  • A clean fresh source of drinking water is also necessary.
  • Clean feeding pan between uses.
JUMPSTART® is designed to provide extra nutrition to starve out or light weight pigs. After pigs are consuming JUMPSTART® they can be transitioned to a Hubbard Feed nursery program such as Lean Start® or Fundamentals®.
