Dr. Herold earned his Bachelor of Science degree in the Department of Animal and Range Science at Montana State University and his M.S. and Ph.D. in Ruminant Nutrition at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln.
Dan focuses on cattle nutrition for both commercial and registered beef producers covering all aspects of cow/calf production and growing/finishing feedlots. In his current role, Dan serves as the Manager of Hubbard’s Beef Nutrition and Technical Services Team, and supports beef-feed product development, formulation, and production across all Hubbard plants.
His interests include helping our customers, dealers, and sales force find simple answers to their nutrition questions, and practical solutions when trouble shooting at the farm, ranch, or feedlot. He believes continuous learning, careful listening, and keeping an open mind are the most useful tools for building relationships and providing support.
