Luke Swalla

Swine Research Coordinator

Luke received his B.S. in Animal Science from Iowa State University and his M.S. in Animal Anatomy and Physiology from Colorado State University. While in undergrad, Luke was a student-athlete and  four year letter winner on the Cyclones wrestling team. Before joining Hubbard Feeds, Luke worked in R&D for Elanco Animal Health where he was responsible for the complete execution of the in-life phase of clinical research studies.

Luke has a passion for pigs, and worked a variety of jobs and internships in the swine industry while in college. At Hubbard, Lukes primary function is support and coordination of research trials within two commercial production facilities. Luke works closely with the Hubbard swine specialists team to optimize research trial design so that results can best serve producers.

In his spare time, Luke enjoys hunting, fishing, following Iowa State athletics, and managing his fantasy football roster.
