Sharlie Hansen, M.S.

Swine Nutrition Specialist, R&D

Sharlie works primarily in Research and Development on statistical analysis, dashboard development and swine formulation software support.  She earned a B.S. in Animal Science and an M.S. in Swine Nutrition from Kansas State University. 
 
Having grown up on a farm, Sharlie has a strong passion for agriculture and likes using science and research to help people understand agriculture. She is very involved in 4-H as a volunteer project leader and member of the Blue Earth County Fair board.  She and her family raise meat goats and cattle and have several Quarter horses that are shown throughout the year.  Sharlie and her husband, Ernie, have four children and enjoy attending their  football games, ski meets, track meets and baseball games.
