CORID® (amprolium) 1.25% Crumbles should be fed as a top-dress on beef and dairy calf rations to aid in the prevention and treatment of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria bovis and Eimeria zuernii.
Why Use CORID 1.25% Crumbles
Coccidiosis of cattle is a very common intestinal problem causing mild to severe damage of the intestinal lining and thereby allowing for increased susceptibility to bacterial and viral infections. In the acute form, outbreaks occur as a result of stress due to shipping cattle, weather conditions, processing and many other factors. These clinical outbreaks produce severe diarrhea, hemorrhage and dehydration, and can often lead to death. However, the subclinical form of coccidiosis is equally important to control because this low-level infection interferes with feed consumption, feed conversion, weight gains and serves as the source for a clinical outbreak when stress conditions occur.
When To Use CORID 1.25% Crumbles
Newly arrived cattle, stocker cattle and young calves are virtually under constant stress. A high percentage of cattle are infected with the subclinical form of coccidiosis.

For prevention feed 227 milligrams of Amprolium per 100.0 pounds of body weight per day for 21 days during periods of exposure or when experience indicates that coccidiosis is likely to be a hazard. Feed 0.20 pounds per 500 pounds of body weight daily for 21 days.
