STOCKMASTER® Pasture Mineral

STOCKMASTER®

STOCKMASTER® Pasture Mineral is formulated to supplement pasture cattle.

About the Product

Trace Mineral Supplementation
STOCKMASTER Pasture Mineral supplies trace mineral fortification in amounts and ratios appropriate for pasture cattle. Trace minerals are essential for life. Supplemental trace minerals are well absorbed and important for optimum productivity.

Vitamin Supplements
STOCKMASTER Pasture Mineral contains vitamins A, D, and E to supplement the amount
available in the forage. This is especially important late season when the forage growth slows and forage vitamin content decreases.

Phosphorus
STOCKMASTER Pasture Mineral contains 4% phosphorus to complement pastures with adequate
or nearly adequate phosphorus content. The use of lower phosphorus supplementation when indicated
is environmentally and fiscally responsible.

Magnesium
STOCKMASTER Pasture Mineral contains 8% magnesium to balance the high forage potassium content seen in certain pasture situations. High dietary potassium reduces magnesium absorption.

Salt
STOCKMASTER Pasture Mineral contains approximately 20% salt to meet animal requirements
and control consumption.

Choice of Additives
Proper use of additives can improve animal performance; refer to the product tag for a specific claim. STOCKMASTER Pasture Mineral is available with approved feed additives.

Feeding Directions

STOCKMASTER Pasture Mineral is formulated to be fed to range or pasture cattle at approximately 2.0 to 3.0 ounces per head per day. If STOCKMASTER Pasture Mineral is offered free choice it should be introduced gradually over a 14 day period. Offer 2.0 to 3.0 ounces per head per day during this period to avoid over consumption.

Early lactation cows may desire more salt than that provided by STOCKMASTER Pasture Mineral. Please offer free choice loose salt along with the mineral to cows in early lactation.

The daily intake of STOCKMASTER Pasture Mineral will vary. Mineral consumption rates should be estimated on a monthly basis. If intakes are greater than 3.0 ounces per head per day more salt should be offered either free choice or mixed with the mineral. If intakes are less than 3.0 ounces per head per day the amount of salt offered should be decreased.

Provide fresh clean water at all times.

NOTE: Supplemental mineral requirements of cattle vary by region, forage quality and season. Individual animal requirements may vary due to age, size, stage or growth or milk production. Please consult your Hubbard Feeds Inc. representative if you have questions about mineral supplementation.

Caution

This product, which contains added copper, should not be fed to sheep or related species that have a low tolerance level to copper.
