SIL-ALL® 4 X 4 Liquid Forage Treatment

SIL-ALL® 4 X 4 WS Water Soluble silage inoculant is a blend of bacteria and enzymes in a concentrated form for the preparation of silage. When mixed according to directions, it can be applied as a liquid directly to legumes, corn and sorghum silages and high moisture grains to aid in the fermentation process.

About the Product

SIL-ALL 4 X 4 WS silage inoculant uses a combination of bacteria to aid in the fermentation of ensiled materials by rapidly lowering the pH of the forage or high moisture grains to protect proteins. Faster fermentation will minimize ensiling losses and conserve dry matter to boost feed value. SIL-ALL 4 X 4WS is formulated to minimize unpalatable acetic acid production.

Four specially selected strains of lactic acid-producing bacteria give SIL-ALL 4 X 4 the ability to operate effectively across a wide range of conditions. These beneficial strains dominate the less efficient naturally occurring bacteria, thereby increasing the effectiveness of fermentation and reducing effluent loss.

At the same time, four different enzymes work to release extra sugars quickly and efficiently from the different carbohydrate sources in the forage. This is particularly important in difficult ensiling conditions.

Versatile and Easy To Store
SIL-ALL 4 X 4 silage inoculant, when diluted for application, is applied as a liquid spray designed for uniform application. It can be used on alfalfa, grass, whole plant corn, high moisture corn, sorghum and small grain silages.

SIL-ALL 4 X 4 is ideal for silage in big bales as well as bunker and tower silos. It is effective across a range of ensiling conditions. SIL-ALL 4 X 4 is convenient to store and is stable for 18 months in an unopened container.

Feeding Directions

Mix 1 pouch SIL-ALL4 X 4 WS silage inoculant thoroughly with 25 gallons  clean, cold or cool, potable water.  Apply at one quart per one ton of fresh corn silag crop usinga suitable, calibrated liquid spray applicator.  Double the application rate for high moisture corn and challenging forages/haylages.

Mix 1 pouch (250 gram) SIL-ALL4 X 4  WS 10X silage inoculant thoroughly in 250 gallons of water. Following the application equipment manufacturer’s directions, provide a final delivery rate so that one gallon of this inoculant solution will treat one ton of legume, small grain, or high moisture grain silages. Apply 0.5 gallon of the inoculant solution to treat one ton of corn or sorghum silages.
