RumAssist is designed to be fed to cattle that are in stressful situations, whether this involves a change in surroundings, a new social setting or a new diet. This product can help fight challenges associated with placing cattle on feed at weaning and moving up to a finishing diet by helping to create a more stable rumen environment.
RumAssist is a blend of yeasts which helps inhibit more acid-utilizing bacteria. This product helps to provide the rumen and microbial population with an opportunity to adapt to their new environment, thereby aiding animal success.
RumAssist helps to support a more balanced rumen environment, which enables weaned calves to adapt better to mixed rations. It can also help to reduce the chance of ruminal acidosis in feedlot cattle that are transitioning to a complete finishing diet. When added to the diet, this product creates more acetate and propionate while decreasing lactic acid which thereby increases intake, creating a more stable rumen pH and giving the animal more microbial protein. RumAssist has been carefully designed to help modify the rumen.

RumAssist Meal 0.5 NAB NAP is fed at the rate of 0.5 pound per head per day.
Mix GainRite Distiller Finisher 0.5 R1200 RumAssist with grain and/or roughage to provide 10-30 grams per ton Monensin in the complete ration. Each pound of GainRite Distiller Finisher 0.5 R1200 RumAssist contains 600 milligrams of Monensin.
Mix GainRite Grower 0.5 TRTM R900 RumAssist with grain and/or roughage to provide 10-30 grams per ton Monensin in the complete ration. Each pound of GainRite Grower 0.5 TRTM R900 RumAssist contains 450 milligrams of Monensin.
Feed Homestead® GainRite® Distiller Balancer 0.5 RumAssist™ NAB NAP at the rate of 0.5 pound per head per day along with grain and roughage.
Always provide clean, fresh water.
This product, which contains added copper, should not be fed to sheep or related species that have a low tolerance to copper.
Do not allow horses or other equines access to formulations containing Monensin. Ingestion of Monensin by equines has been fatal. Monensin-medicated cattle feed is safe for use in cattle only. Consumption by unapproved species may result in toxic reactions. Do not exceed the levels of Monensin recommended in the feeding directions as reduced average daily gains may result. A withdrawal time has not been established for pre-ruminating calves. Do not use in calves to be processed for veal. Consumption of selenium should not exceed 3 mg per head per day.
