Cool Command® Balancer 30 Horse Supplement contains the optimal level of protein, energy, minerals and vitamins to meet the nutrient requirements of your horse. Cool Command Balancer 30 Horse Supplement is formulated to be fed with home-grown grains, as a top dress or in combination with other Hubbard Life horse feeds when stress or heavy work requires additional supplementation. Cool Command Balancer 30 Horse Supplement contains high quality protein products, minerals, vitamins and molasses in a pellet to reduce sorting and feed wastage.

Feeding Directions

For hand-feeding: Feed Cool Command Balancer 30 at the rate of 0.10–0.15 lbs./100 lbs. of body weight (1–1.5 lbs./head/day), along with 1.85–1.9 lbs./100 lbs. of good-quality hay/pasture. A source of clean, fresh water is also necessary.

To make a complete 12% grain mix: Follow the chart below and feed with at least 1 lb. of good-quality hay/pasture per 100 lbs. of body weight and a source of clean, fresh water.

Cool Command Balancer 30 is formulated to be fed along with hay.

 

Suggested Feeding Program

Feed according to the following chart along with supplmental grains and forage as needed by the individual animals. 

Also supply a free choice mineral and free choice water. 

Please note: These amounts are suggestions and may be adjusted according to forage quality, body condition and environment.

Ask for mixing directions to make a 12 or 14% complete feed.

 

Feeding Tips

  • All grain mixes should be fed with at least 1% of body weight per day of good quality forage. Maximizing the contribution of forage reduces digestive upset.
  • Provide free choice access to salt and fresh water.
  • Grain mix intake will vary depending on desired growth rate, level of activity, age, season and quantity and quality of available forage.

Management Tips

  • Worm at least 4 times each year.
  • Trim horse’s feet frequently.
  • Keep your horse’s teeth floated.
  • A physical examination should be performed annually on all horses by your veterinarian.
