Hubbard® Horse Mineral is formulated with a calcium to phosphorus ratio of 1.2:1 making it ideal to be fed to horses fed an alfalfa or alfalfa/grass forage feeding programs. Hubbard Horse Mineral provides the extra vitamins and minerals that are needed during times of stress or when additional nutrients are needed for growth, exercise or pregnancy/lactation.

Hubbard Horse Mineral can be offered free choice to horses on range or in confinement. Normal intake will be approximately 1 ounce; brood mares, 2 ounces. Hubbard Horse Mineral may also be mixed into complete feed at the rate of 2 ounces per head per day.
Should be fed free choice in a clean, dry mineral feeder.
CAUTION: If animals are starved for salt or mineral, it is advisable to limit the quantity of mineral until appetite is normal.
NOTE: Individual mineral and vitamin requirements of horses depends on stage of production (growth, maintenance, gestation or lactation), size and age of the animal. Likewise, the mineral and vitamin content of forages varies depending on geographical location where grown and stage of forage growth when harvested or consumed by the horse.
This product, which contains added copper, should not be fed to sheep or related species that have a low tolerance level to copper.
