Blueprint® Lamb Starter is a complete, palatable mini pellet designed to improve lamb intake, growth performance and feed efficiency in pre-weaning lambs.
Blueprint® Lamb Starter is manufactured so every mouthful of feed is just like the previous. This product is formulated for increased early-life, dry feed intake to promote lamb health, improved rumen development which accelerates growth performance and feed efficiency as lambs enter the growing phase of production.
As part of the Blueprint program, the Alltech technologies in this product promote digestive, immune and urinary system health. These products include Bioplex®, a source of organic trace minerals (cobalt, manganese and zinc), and Sel-Plex®, a selenium yeast. Blueprint organic trace minerals resemble those found naturally in plant proteins. This translates to increased availability with less interference by antagonists and less oxidative stress, which, in turn, improves performance.
Blueprint Lamb Starter also contains Bio-Mos® 2, a cutting-edge technology for gut health that enhances bacterial diversity and is helpful when animals are experiencing stress or going through transition periods.

BLUEPRINT LAMB STARTER 18%: Feed to lambs as a supplement to the ewes' milk. Feed with good quality hay until lambs are 45 pounds or weaned. After weaning, feed Blueprint Lamb Grower 16%. Provide fresh, clean water at all times.
BLUEPRINT LAMB STARTER 18% B30: Feed Blueprint Lamb Starter 18% B30 to lambs as a supplement to the ewe's milk. Feed continuously at the rate of 1.0 to 4.6 pounds daily to provide not less than 15 nor more than 70 milligrams of Lasalocid per day. Feed with good quality hay until lambs are 45 pounds or weaned. After weaning, feed Blueprint Lamb Grower 16%. Always supply a source of fresh, clean water.
BLUEPRINT LAMB STARTER 18% D27.2: Feed Blueprint Lamb Starter 18% D27.2 to lambs as a supplement to the ewe's milk. Feed continuously at the rate of 0.83 pound per 100 pounds of body weight to provide 22.7 milligrams of Decoquinate per 100 pounds of body weight. Feed at least 28 days during periods of exposure or when experience indicates that coccidiosis is likely to be a hazard. Feed along with good quality hay. Provide a constant supply of clean, fresh water.
No additional copper was added to this product. This product can be fed as part of a grain mix, self-fed or provided in combination with forages to lambs through the grower phase of production.
